(why science in the hospital is good)

Microscope Lesson

Today we worked with Mr. L on the microscope lessons.  We were able to see so many different cells that compose part of the human body under the microscope.  Before we did that though, we first learned about the different parts of the microscope.  There is the objective lens, the condenser, the slide holder, and the light source.  Then we saw the many slides that were prepared including red blood cells, skin cells, and bone cells.  We also saw some plants, like a fig leaf, and also some nonliving objects, like volcanic ash and salt.  Cool!
