(why science in the hospital is good)

Habitats and Biomes

Today we’re studying habitats.  What’s your habitat?  Where do you go to feel safe?

This morning, some kids made up new animals that are adapted to different habitats.  A few examples of fictitious animals:

The squigywidgy fish lives in the ocean, and uses a long sticky tongue to eat other fish.

The Bearie Bear lives in a lake (that is always sunny) and eats flowers, honey, berries, and pears.

Tortoiseyish is a mammal (believe it or not) that lives in a tree in the temperate forest.
